Last Night in Japan!!!

Today is my last day in Japan!! The day started with an early meeting with my prefecture group to practice our presentation for today's meeting. We were planning to talk about Gujo, do our Kawasaki dance, then show the power point. Everything was working beautifully until the presentation, when the power point would just not work. We did manage to present the information at the end of the day. As soon as the presentations were over, a few other teachers and I grabbed a cab and headed for the Tokyo National Museum. A brand new exhibit by HOKUSAI started yesterday. You may rememeber HOKUSAI, because he is one of the most famous block print artists in the world and we studied some of his work last month. I spent several hours going through the exhibit, viewing the actual works of art by this great master!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The party pictures are from the farewell reception. I was with a great group of people.
