Learning the Famous Gujo Dance!

Besides the wonderful water, Gujo is known for it's dance!!! Thanks to Ishi-san, a group of musicians and dancers met us at the ryokan and taught us the Kawasaki - the most famous Gujo dance. We are presenting it tomorrow at our meeting here in Tokyo. Each group has to make a 15 minute presentation on their week in the prefecture. We have been fortunate in that 2 wonderful teachers, Nelli (from NYC) and Chrystine (from Rhode Island) have put together an amazing Power Point with highlights from everyone's pictures and videos. At the end of the presentation, our group of 20 is going to perform the Kawasaki dance. I will teach it to you when I get back.
